Sources and model claims
Model-specific manufacturer manuals and specification sheets are preferred for dimensions, installation modes, electrical fields and documented output. A retailer guide may help explain a shopping task, but it does not override a current manufacturer document. Time-sensitive and model-specific facts retain a source and an observation date in the site records.
Unknowns and conflicting information
Missing information remains unknown. Conflicting sources are shown or resolved through the documented source hierarchy; values are never averaged merely to fill a field. A fit calculator can rule out an obvious mismatch, but it cannot approve an installation or replace model-specific clearances, wiring, ventilation or construction requirements.
Corrections and updates
A correction updates the canonical fact first and then every affected guide, comparison or tool. Product specifications and source pages are reviewed when their freshness trigger expires or a material conflict appears.
Commercial independence
Commission cannot change product facts, filters or comparison rules. If commercial links are approved later, they are identified and use the appropriate sponsored relationship. No commercial link is active at launch.
