Fireplace Fit Lab does not currently use affiliate links, sponsored placements, paid rankings or display advertising. The site does not receive a commission when a reader follows an ordinary product or manufacturer link.
If affiliate links are added
Any page containing an affiliate link will say so clearly near the relevant link or recommendation. Fireplace Fit Lab may then receive a commission if a reader completes a qualifying purchase, without changing the price paid by the reader. Paid links will be identified for search engines as sponsored.
What commercial relationships do not change
A commercial relationship will not change a model number, product dimension, installation requirement or source document. Comparisons will continue to use the same published criteria whether or not a merchant participates in an affiliate program. A product will not receive a better assessment merely because a commission is available.
